Not so HNT'y
Okay no nakedness today I actually have very little time to play, it is my last week before spring break and I have papers, midterms and junk to read before today is over.
Weekend Recap; I had such a good time! Our trip got cut short so we only did a day trip (I ended up having to work on Saturday...Bummer) This trip was mainly for my friend, she is amazing, I am so lucky to have her be a part of my life and I wanted to do something special for her...She has done so much for me this year and has been there always that I wanted to plan something I knew she would enjoy, my needs and wants were second and my mental health day I knew would come since she is like my breath of fresh air and can always make me laugh. We started with the absolute necessity of going to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. This was the first time I have EVER been there where I didn't have to wait in line it was utterly amazing! We were having so much fun before we even ordered that the waiter came over and said he wanted to see what we were laughing at cause it was making him laugh over at the counter; he wanted to join in on the fun. So it was a good start. After we grubbed I took her down to Ameoba records, she is the biggest music fan I know and she has never been there I was shocked! She is amazing with music she can name ANY song by any artist and most likely what album it was on with some interesting fact about it...And that is with any type of music. So yeah I took her to Ameoba Records and she went crazy! I bought so many records and we spent a good hour or two in there, I had to give her a time limit cause we had so much to do in so little amount of time. From there we went to a place called Adventure Land-Hobby City (something like that) and we acted like little kids it was great we rode the carousel and most of the rides we even rode the little train around...Sometimes it's so great to act like your 6 again. We blew bubbles the whole time (bubbles are both of our favorites...Except she is way more obsessed than I am) Then I drove furthur down into Anaheim and I took her to a Sonic. This has been something she has wanted to do for a LONG time, on our local channels we get nonstop Sonic commercials but we don't have one close to us; go figure? So we ate laughed and goofed around, people around us either thought we were crazy or high. Again good fun. About this time it was already almost 3 I think. I drove further down and took her to Newport Beach and Balboa Island. We walked around saw the city a little bit, drove my car on the ferry, rode the carousel they have (she loves carasols!) got a caricature of us done and just had a blast acting like little kids again. Well it was starting to get darker and I still had to make my way back up north so off we went. I was headed to Malibu to graffiti a famous rock, people draw on this rock all the time and she mentioned one time that since I draw and paint that she really wanted to go do it with me. (don't freak on me...I am not some lame tagger...People draw on this huge rock with chalk) I packed a flashlight and snacks and all the stuff to chalk the rock. Everything we did was a total surprise to her so it made it that much more exciting; every freeway we hopped on and every exit I took she was trying to figure out where the hell we were going. So by the time we made it up to Malibu it was really dark, good thing I packed the mag-light! So we run across the freeway and go over to the rock to check it out well it turns out there is a couple of homeless guys sleeping by the rock...After a comical encounter we bee line out of there; we didn't get to draw on the rock but we both decided that was something we needed to do in the day. :) Well back in the car and many laughs later we were on our way home now. Our trip was from 8:30 am when we left my house until 9 pm when we got back to my house...305 miles later, two disposable cameras and sore ab muscles from laughing so hard. The day was perfect and I didn't get lost! Woot! We decided after we each took a shower to continue the fun and make it a blockbuster night, we went and rented and couple of stand-up's, got some snacks and laughed the rest of the night. I am so blessed to have her a part of my life and she has changed me in so many ways; for the better of course. I know she had a great time and I am glad that I was able to be the one to do all that with her. :)
Oh and Sass well the toilet is sort of fixed, I fixed it so it flushes now so it is in the same prior condition before the old man broke it but the water still runs nonstop...ggrrrrrr...They have yet to fix that! My management company sucks more than a Hoover at the Hilton!!!
Gotta jam, I have to study! :(
Next week I'll have more time (yeah) b/c I will be out for spring break! (well I still have my 40 hrs at my job but no school!!! That's enough to make me happy)
