Two weekends ago...Finally!
Okay so last Sunday I had another awesome day out of town! This month Siouxsie and I have been in the wind, spending one or more day every weekend out of town. I love it! Of course it makes my week that much harder since I am not home to do all the errands and things I set aside for the weekend but I don't care in the least...I love being out of town...
We went to Mel's on Sunset and had an awesome brunch and I hate myself for not talking to this sexy ass man also eating outside. As I left he said hi to me and I said hi back and I should have said more, gawd he was good looking! Oh well maybe next time I will grow some balls.
Then we headed over to a museum, this shit was DEEP. If you google it you will find a lot of really controversial articles... It made me question my carear a bit and what I really wanted to do in my field (psychology) However it is good to remember that EVERYONE has an agenda and you can't always take something as the entire truth...This museum was funded by the great folks of Scientology (who if you know anything about their beliefs think that psychology is a crack...Maybe it inhibits their brainwashing) I have a hard time following a religion written in the 1970's by a science fiction writer who is quoted for saying the fastest way to make money is to create a religion. ...hmmm everyone has an agenda.
So after leaving there (I think we were in there 2 hours) we need some love and some fun so I blew bubbles out of the car and cracked up the music and we headed down to the 60 and stopped at this place! OH my God was it fun! When you go from 0 to 70 in less than 3 seconds omfg is it orgasmic! I love speed and cars! I am sort of a junkie that way, I always thought it would rock to be a race car driver...Think this summer I am going to take a course to get my moto license and join a moto racing team with a friend who is already on one...Oh and I got the fastest time for a girl that entire day on the grand prix track! WOOO HOOO! Okay so the adrenaline rush I got from this was awesome! The dragster was the best tho! This is our next stop for speed and ohhhh I can't wait! We are going back up to Pismo sometime soon too to conquer the dunes again, that was a blast too! I love Pismo, it is so cool there! We bought a mini bubble machine and I blew bubbles on the 405 while we sat in traffic, people were loving it, they honked and laughed and I saw grown adults rolling down their windows to pop the bubbles; it was great to share a little love and a little joy to so many people that day, esp with something so simple!
